Menu – Food
The menu offered a tempting array of options, each more alluring than the next. But it wasn’t just the food that hooked us: the ambience made us feel like we had found a place to call our own.
The veal steak on the stone could only be described as a work of art. It was a masterpiece of flavours, each bite revealing an exciting layer.
The pork kebab (espetada) and shrimp risotto are famous, but we didn’t try them. The food had an impeccable presentation, each plate a work of culinary art.
The wine selection was impressive, and the staff were more than happy to make recommendations. They were attentive without intrusive, their menu knowledge second to none.
The banana split was the cherry on top. Beautiful to look at as it was to eat, with a perfect balance of sweet and rich flavours.
As we licked the last ice cream bite from our spoons, we couldn’t help but long for more. We knew we would come again and again.

Leeno’s Bar & Restaurant offers great value for money with an average price per person of €25. This makes it one of the best value experiences in Funchal.

We were seated quickly, and the waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave us excellent recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience.
