Golden Gate Grand Cafe

The Golden Gate Grande Café is a traditional café in Funchal heart, on the island of Madeira.

It appeared in the 19th century as part of the luxurious Golden Gate Hotel, which has not survived. Its decoration reminds us of its glorious past, where the Madeiran financial elite met with artists.
